local event poster

TIME SPAN: 4 weeks

We each selected a local community event, and I chose this film festival happening in Pittsburgh that specifically centered stories surrounding and directors of disability. The objective was to use a single image and text to capture the overall gist of the event, as well as key details. Certain content was required on the poster, such as event name, event location, what days and times it would occur, and what would be at the event. In my case, I needed to balance all of the above information, including what screenings would be shown on each day of the event. I was very excited to be doing an event so closely tied with cinematography.

It was really great working on a project where text took so much precedence, and I learned a lot about hierarchy.
